I believe that when we create a set of tools, that we imbue those tools with a set of values; and that when we use those tools, those same values are projected right back onto us. That is why it is so important that we figure out which values we want to live by, and then instill those values into the tools we create. The most important tools of our species can be summarized by the acronym FOCUS: Food, Clothes and Shelter. These are the tools by which we receive basic sustenance and protection from the elements. If we are able to change these tools alone, I believe we will have changed the whole world.	I can summarize my values by the acronym GRAB: Green, Red, & Black. These colours represent ecologism, socialism, and anarchism, respectively. To me, ecologism means health: the physical health of humans and non-humans that results from the conscious consideration of our entire ecosystem; socialism means equality: changing the relationships and patterns of privilege and hierarchy that dominate all life on Earth; and anarchism means freedom: emancipating ourselves from the corporate and governmental systems of control that subjugate us.
